Making Bad Words Good

You’re born, you’re taught stuff, and then you know things. Or do you? I was fine up until I discovered that breaking things was more fun than building things (ages 1 to twelve, I think), and then, just as that reversed I discovered that females were like males, only sort of like the opposite and (generally) terrible at throwing, which was actually sort of cute. Suddenly, learning anything that wasn’t specifically about females seemed like a very bad idea indeed.
Words like ‘consultant’ ranked right up there with ‘venereal’ and ‘disease’ when I was growing up. I didn’t want to know anything about either, and both seemed to do damage to both parts of the body that I was trying to think with.
Fortunately there are people out there who can make the word ‘consultant’ sound actually quite good. Click the link to see what I mean.
Enigin go beyond just explaining what a consultant is, actually. Because we’re not just talking about any consultant here, no. We’re talking Energy-saving consultants – those mysterious eternally optimistic men whose job is to decipher how we can be less bad than we are (quite a job when you consider how much damage we’ve already done).
It’s thanks to companies like Enigin that words like consultant sound good. If you want to keep being reminded of how you need to improve your carbon footprint (which you really should, and don’t shake your head) then checking back for more. You owe it to all of us, even you there in the corner.
